(1) Influence of fat viscosity on bearing vibration value

For the same type of grease, the vibration level of the bearing generally decreases with the increase of the viscosity of the grease base oil. In soap-based greases, the grease with low consistency is less noisy than the fat with high consistency.

In the case of general grease, as the length and width of the fiber (i.e. the granularity) increases, the vibration level of the grease increases accordingly. Small particle size, uniform dispersion, bearing vibration value fluctuation range is also small, aggregate, reactant particle size, uneven dispersion, will affect the vibration level and stability of the grease, vibration value fluctuation range is large.

(3) The influence of impurities in grease on the bearing vibration value

The content of solids (impurities, dust) in the grease has a significant impact on the bearing vibration value: in the manufacture of grease, raw materials and the environment will inevitably bring impurities, once mixed and not easy to remove.

When the bearing or grease is mixed with solid impurities, the bearing rolling body will cause vibration of the bearing through the solid object and make noise, so it is generally stipulated that granular impurities are not allowed in the grease.

Bearing filling grease amount should be appropriate. According to the technical requirements for the installation of rolling bearings, the filling amount of bearing grease should be 1/2 to 1/3 of the internal space of the bearing. The filling amount is small, and the local lubrication dose will be reduced when the bearing rotates, causing vibration; The filling amount is too much or too full, the running resistance of the bearing increases, the vibration increases correspondingly, and the grease is easy to overflow.
